Making sure our students have the safest and best learning environment has and will always be our top priority. Therefore, please read the following points carefully and help your child comprehend and follow all the school rules and practices

School Uniform:

Making sure our students have the safest and best learning environment has and will always be our top priority. Therefore, please read the following points carefully and help your child comprehend and follow all the school rules and practices

Snacks:

During break time, students can buy snacks from the snack shop using their electronic cards. Kindly note that these cards have to be charged beforehand.

Electronics have become constant accessories in our daily life; however, we consider the school day a chance for our students to take a break from anything electronic. Mobile phones, I-watches and cameras are completely forbidden. 

The only mobile allowed is the one without a camera and no internet connection to be used only after school hours. Kindly note that if any of the mentioned gadgets is found with a student, it will be confiscated by the school administration.

Absence:
  • Kindly check the COVID-19 Response Plan to get a clear idea on the school procedures during the pandemic.
  • Students are not allowed to leave the school before the end of the school day except for medical emergencies. Regular doctor and dental appointments should be scheduled outside school hours.
  • Please do not send any medicine to school with your child. The resident nurse will not administer any medication
  • In case of missing three or more days of school because of travelling or participating in tournaments, students have to present the documents clarifying the reasons for their absence.
Communication:

At Alexandria House of English, we strongly believe that good communication is the key to success. We have several means through which we make sure the link between the school and parents stays strong.

The Memorandum :

This is one of the most important elements in the students’ bags. Please make sureyou check the memo daily as this will be the main means of communication between parents and teachers. You can also write directly to the teachers through it.

Parents-teachers Meetings :

A time table of parents-teachers meeting hours will be sent in the students’ memo soon after the beginning of the academic year. Kindly note that if you want to schedule an appointment with any teacher, you should contact the school to set the date.

All announcements and important dates are announced via posts on Schooleverywhere, Teams and Facebook Groups. Please make sure you have the applications required for these platforms.

Kindly note that approaching teachers or administration through personal phone numbers or social media accounts is not permitted under any circumstances and any inquiry done through personal accounts will not be answered
